Nach acht Generationen und mehr als zwanzig Jahren Entwicklung ist es nicht nur das schnellste Tarmac, das es je gab – es ist das schnellste Rennrad der Welt. Bist du bereit?
Aerodynamik und geringes Gewicht allein entscheiden keine Rennen – an der Ziellinie kommt es auf die Geschwindigkeit an. Um auf Race-Speed zu kommen, ist eine ganz bestimmte Balance aus Aerodynamik, Leichtigkeit, Steifigkeit und Nachgiebigkeit nötig. Unser Ride Science Team hat durch Rennsimulationen anhand realer Daten herausgefunden, dass das Tarmac SL8 auf den entscheidenden Strecken das schnellste Rennrad ist, das je gebaut wurde. Ganze 16,6 Sekunden schneller auf 40 km, 128 Sekunden schneller bei Milano–Sanremo und 20 Sekunden schneller auf den Tourmalet.
- Aero-Avantgarde: Aero sind bei uns die Oberflächen, die wirklich zählen, nicht die, an denen es am besten aussieht. Mit dieser Philosophie haben wir unser aerodynamischstes Rennrad aller Zeiten geschaffen. Und ja, es ist aerodynamischer als das Venge. Das neu designte Steuerrohr des Tarmac SL8 hält den Luftstrom besser aufrecht, denn die Oberfläche an der Vorderseite läuft spitzer zu. Wir nennen es den Speed Sniffer und mit ihm erzeugt der stromlinienförmigere Querschnitt des Steuerrohrs viel weniger Luftwiderstand. Darüber hinaus haben wir im Einklang mit den neuen UCI-Regeln für das Tarmac SL8 die schmalste und aerodynamischste Specialized Sattelstütze aller Zeiten entwickelt. So kann die sich schnell bewegende verwirbelte Luft um die Beine herum sauberer abströmen. Ein Bike mit Gespür für den Sieg.
- Minimales Gewicht, maximal aero: Das Tarmac SL8 nutzt die Erkenntnisse aus der Entwicklung des Aethos und erreicht problemlos die UCI-Gewichtsgrenze, und das mit einem vollständigen Aero-Setup. Unser Team hat einen unglaublichen Rahmen mit 685 Gramm entwickelt – 15% leichter als das Tarmac SL7 und leichter als alle anderen Bikes der World Tour. Dass Kasper Asgreen auf einer Tour Stage unser Aethos gefahren ist, dessen Rahmen nur 585 Gramm wiegt, zählt irgendwie nicht. Die neuen technischen Möglichkeiten befähigten uns, beim Tarmac das Gewicht des Unterrohrs, Sitzrohrs und Hecks zu optimieren, denn die neue Form des Rahmens verteilt die Last so effizient, dass zusätzliche Carbonschichten für mehr Steifigkeit nicht mehr nötig sind.
- Geht höllisch nach vorn, fährt sich himmlisch: Dank der enormen Verbesserung des Verhältnisses von Steifigkeit zu Gewicht – um erstaunliche 33% – hebt das Tarmac SL8 das legendäre Handling, das aggressive Ansprechverhalten und die auf der World Tour erprobte Geometrie auf ein neues Level. Das Bike ist steifer am Tretlager, präziser am Lenker sowie nachgiebiger im Sattel und setzt damit neue Maßstäbe für die Performance und den Komfort von Rennrädern. Unser Konzept Rider-First Engineering™ stellt sicher, dass jeder Rider unabhängig von seiner Größe die gleiche Fahrqualität und Handling genießt. Am Sattel bietet das Tarmac SL8 6% mehr Nachgiebigkeit. Es gleitet geschmeidig über raue Straßen – einzigartig in der mit Spannung geladenen Welt des Rennradsports. Die Geometrie des Tarmac SL8 mit 32 mm Reifenfreiheit ist identisch mit der auf der World Tour bewährten Geometrie des SL7.
- Genderneutral: Unsere Erfahrung in der Produktentwicklung sagt uns, dass zwischen zwei Ridern des gleichen Geschlechts mehr Unterschiede bestehen können als zwischen zwei Ridern unterschiedlichen Geschlechts. Attractive and works great. Be sure to clean the suction cups and sink before using!

I have wanted a sponge holder to put inside my sink for a while now. I wanted something attactive and I wanted it to work as it should. Seemed reasonable until I started looking and reading reviews. The biggest complaint appeared to be that these sponge holders do not stay attached to the sink. The reviews for this particular holder were great. Customers stressed cleaning the suction cups and sink before using. I am really glad they did because holder arrived in the packaging with zero instructions. Because I read the reviews I knew what to do and it worked! I am very pleased with this sponge holder. It is attractive, it feels really sturdy and it stays on the side of stainless steel sink just fine.

Pretty; sturdy; perfect size

Nice, sturdy little sponge and brush holder for the side of the sink. I was afraid my sink would me too small and spent lots of time trying to find a holder for the rim/countertop area. This one is not too big but fits my dobie and brillo perfectly. My sink is a little too short for a full fledged brush so when I tried to put in the brush I use sometimes it sticks up too much. That's really not the products fault so I won't subtract the score because of it. Also, I decided to put the holder flush against the side closest to me, instead of the side or the back of the sink. If I had chosen that location, the brush sticking out might not be an issue.

Yes the suction works on stainless steel!!

I've been through many rag holders before including a magnetic one, which broke. But the suction on this sucker (pun intended) is top notch! It doesn't slide around or come off or slide to the bottom of the sink. It just stays put which is so unique for anything with suction cups. The only reason i am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is quite small. I wish it were a few inches longer so i could easily fit two rags or sponges in the holder. But i have to jam them in and its not pretty. So for the price, i think it should have been bigger. Still a good product because of the functionality of the suction cups.

Absolutely Perfect

This is honestly one of my favorite kitchen purchases (which sounds silly) but it's AWESOME. There's a hole for my dish brush, which is so convenient and keeps it from draining anywhere else AND it has a nice ledge for my sponge. Great product once put on correctly.

When I first received it and placed it on, it continued to fall so I almost returned it. However, I found a method online that worked and it has not fallen since even after all the water and soap getting near it. I’ve placed it on a stainless steel sink so not sure if the method works on other surfaces.
Clean the area with soap and water and then make sure there’s no soap residue. Make the water temperature hot and “heat up” both the steel surface and the suction. While it’s still wet, firmly place the suction and make sure it doesn’t move.
That should do the trick!
